By accessing or using Trade-A-Plate ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use this Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

To access certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate another person, or use a misleading display name. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You agree not to:

• Submit fraudulent ownership claims or documentation
• Misrepresent the ownership, availability, or condition of a license plate
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform's security measures or transaction processes
• Upload offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Trade-A-Plate or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written consent.

By submitting content (such as plate photos or claim documentation), you grant Trade-A-Plate a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Platform's operation.

While we strive to provide accurate plate valuations and state-specific transfer information, Trade-A-Plate does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on the Platform. Plate valuations are algorithmic estimates and should not be considered definitive market prices. Always verify DMV procedures with your state's department of motor vehicles.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trade-A-Plate and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

Trade-A-Plate acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or conduct of any user.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trade-A-Plate and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including indemnification, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) shall continue in effect.

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
